When you became a mom, you probably expected a lot of things. You may have expected to feel a ton of joy and gratitude. You likely didn’t expect that you would be yelling at your child or resenting your partner.
It never crossed your mind that the smallest things would set you off. You never imagined that you would be keeping score of who’s doing what in your household, leading to feelings of bitterness and disconnection.
And because you didn’t expect any of these ugly feelings that have been coming up, you’re feeling shame. It can also make you feel like you’re failing. You might be thinking “why am I so angry all the time?” or “why is my relationship falling apart?”

If you’re feeling like the world around you is crumbling and that you’re not the mom or partner that you should be, I assure you that you are not alone.

Hi there! We’re Dr. Ashurina Ream and Erica Djossa, MA.
Together, we have more than 20 years of clinical experience helping parents navigate the overwhelming feelings that come with parenthood.
We’ve created workshops because it seemed we kept hearing the same stories in therapy sessions -- parents were feeling unexpected intense anger that kept showing up. They felt more reactive than they’ve ever been. Their relationships were falling apart. They were feeling disconnected from themselves, their children, and their partner. And because of this, they felt alone and ashamed.
We created our workshops to reach as many parents as possible. We’ve done all of the research and we want to share this information with you in the clearest and most practical way.

This workshop has been
life-changing!
I have a new frame of mind, focusing on my response rather than my child's meltdown. This is a resource that every mom needs!

I learned so much!
I joined this workshop because I wanted to know more about postpartum rage. I didn’t realize that rage could be a symptom of something.

It's made such a difference!
I am feeling so much more decompressed after taking this workshop! I've made it a priority to use the strategies you’ve taught me. It's made such a difference, especially when I’m sleep-deprived, which is a major trigger for rage!
